Welcome to SolarArch
SolarArch is a small Cultural Resources Management company located about 60 miles southeast of Fresno in Three Rivers California. Three Rivers is located in the Sierra Nevada about 15 miles to the east of the San Joaquin Valley and just to the west of the giant redwoods of Sequoia National Park and the 12,000' granite peaks of the Great Western Divide. SolarArch was organized in 2005. At that time our world headquarters were located off the grid in southern Humboldt County where we used solar power to run our entire household and office.
In 2009, after 32 years in southern Humboldt, we moved to Three Rivers California. We still appreciate the power of the sun and have installed a 3.4 kw solar system. In our first month of operation we generated about 90% of our total electric power and reduced by 800 pounds our carbon footprint.
Tom has worked as a cultural resources manager for over 30 years and has authored numerous papers and publications including over twenty papers presented to professional organizations including the Society for American Archaeology and the Society for California Archaeology.
We are delighted with our new home located on four acres in rural Tulare County. With the completion of the solar panel installation, SolarArch is once again powered by the sun.
